The privacy policy below explains how Kingsbridge & Salcombe Chamber of Commerce (KSCC) uses any member and non-member information and how we protect your privacy.

For KSCC members, committee members and staff, we store a copy of your name, address, telephone number, email address, social media profiles, as well as relevant company information on the website database and on a password protected computer file. These details are clearly visible on the public directory of the website. KSCC will not share these details with any 3rdparties and we would always encourage members to send their updates to other members via the Secretary. This website doesn’t hold any payment details for its members. All website payments are handled by Stripe or GoCardless.

By joining KSCC as a member you will receive latest news updates and information regarding forthcoming events, activities and special offers that may be of interest to you. You can opt out at any time by notifying us that you would like to be removed. This will not stop all communication as we may need to contact you regarding your membership.

We collect non-member data through networking (e.g. business cards, event registrations) and through enquiries made either on our website or directly to the Secretary. This data will be added to a prospects database for the purpose of responding to an enquiry or for the prospecting of new members. If you are not a member of the Chamber, or if your membership has lapsed you can choose to opt out of all communications from us. We do not share those details with any third parties and will review the data we hold on a six monthly basis, securely deleting information that is no longer needed for the purposes outlined or if it has gone out of date.

We take your data very seriously and do all we can to ensure that it is kept safe and not used for anything other than its original purpose. KSCC reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time and any changes will be effective when posted on the website.
