Join us at Salcombe Gin, overlooking the estuary on Island Street, for an evening of drinks, informal networking and topical business chatter at our September Business Club!

Twelve months ago, the Chamber embarked on a mission to boost our local economy beyond the traditional tourist season. Join us to celebrate the progress our community is making towards generating out-of-season customer demand and creating a sustainable, year-round economy here in the South Hams. 

Over 200 Salcombe businesses recently voiced their support for increased footfall and more robust economic conditions throughout the year. Hear more about the progress made, and what’s next for our local business community.

We’ll hear from:

  • Chris Shears, SHDC’s Head of Economy, to tell us more about Salcombe’s Community Economic Plan survey results and what they mean for the business environment in Salcombe, especially during the off-peak season.

  • Steve Frame (Salcombe Live) and Philip Ward (RNLI), to update us on the Field of Light | Salcombe Live Festival launch weekend (Friday 4th – Sunday 6th October).

  • Steve Mammatt, to tell us about exciting plans afoot for a Kingsbridge Fringe week in September 2025.

Following the meeting, we’ll head to Primo, Salcombe’s new waterside pizzeria, for a ticketed pizza supper.
