Annual Garden Meeting and AGM
We’re excited to invite you to the South Hams Chamber Annual Summer Garden Party & AGM, and the first event under our new name, the South Hams Chamber!
Set in the stunning surroundings of the Velarde Gallery and sculpture garden (weather dependent!), this promises to be a relaxed evening of great conversation, local flavour, and a chance to view Velarde’s latest exhibition, Forbidden Colours.
It’s a real full-circle moment: two years ago at our Garden Party, Matt Velarde shared the vision for the gallery’s launch. Now, in 2025, we’re delighted to be hosting this year’s event in the beautiful gallery itself.

What’s happening:
✨ From 5:45 PM, please join us for an informal networking session and our Annual General Meeting (AGM), where we’ll update you on what’s new, what’s next, and how we’re growing as a Chamber for the South Hams business community.
🍽️ From 7:30 PM, get ready for a real treat! We’re delighted to welcome Nong from Kid Hod Thai, one of the area’s most celebrated Thai chefs, who’ll be serving up a mouth-watering two course supper.
🍷 Drinks will be available from our friends at Decanter (formerly Barrel & Still), with plenty of time to chat, connect and enjoy the beautiful venue.
First part of the event from 5.45pm-7.30pm is Free for members. Followed by optional dining ticket.
