Noyces

Noyces is a family owned business with strong buying links giving great value for money on everyday items and some exceptional promotional lines. In 2003 Noyces was invited to join the Association of Independent Stores (AIS) the largest independent non-food buying group in the UK and the buying strength behind some of the countries best loved independent department stores. We also have valued membership of these additional trade bodies and buying groups; Home Hardware, The British Independent Retail Association, the Cookshop and Housewares Association, the Horticultural Trades Association.

The slogan "Look No Further" evolved from feedback from new customers over the years who were delighted to discover at Noyces those items that they had been searching high and low for. With over 10,000 different products in stock, you need 'look no further' than Noyces and in the process you'll save yourself time and money avoiding a trip to the city.

Noyces have been retailing at Newbridge Quarry since the 50's. In the early days the site used to sort and sell scrap metal. An ex-army nissan hut was then added to retailing paint, ironmongery and timber. The first purpose built shop was opened in 1973 and as retail trade increased a second building was added. The types of products sold have evolved over the years, however the business has remained in the family and is now run by a 3rd generation family member, Rachel Noyce and her New Zealand husband Tim Gray.

Saturday: 9:00am to 5:00pm
Sunday: 10:00am to 4:00pm
