Nigel Whitmore First Aid
I have many years experience in dealing with all types of first aid incidents in leisure centres.
I bring this practical experience to the classroom and deliver first class first aid knowledge to my pupils in a simple and effective way.
My teaching experience includes delivering first aid and lifesaving techniques to leisure centre staff on a regular basis for many years as well as delivering first aid courses to the business community in the South Devon area. I have a level 4 PTLLS teaching qualification. All my courses are certificated.
My certificates are OFQUAL regulated, my awarding body is the Royal Lifesaving Society and are on the qualification and credit framework as IQL Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (one day- 6 hrs), IQL Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work ( 3 days - 18 hrs), IQL Level 3 Award in Emergency Paedatric First Aid at Work ( one day - 6 hrs), and IQL Level 3 Award in Paedatric First Aid ( two daays - 12 hrs). Both Paedatric courses satisfy the guidelines and crtiteria as laid down by Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and OFSTED.
This means my courses are satisfy the requirements as laid down in the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Approved Code of Practice.
